Recently, we created a new Beer Mat that sits on tables at the Wynkoop Brewing Company. It encourages patrons to order up one of three “trains” of five sample-sized beers—expertly coordinated tastes that give an overview of the range of beers Wynkoop brews. Each train features a seasonal, limited-release selection that currently ranges from Elitch’s Orchard Wheat and 1892 Artesian Lager to Brittany’s favorite, Belgorado.
Well, time really got away from me on this one. It’s been a couple months now since we press-checked Wynkoop’s B3K Black Lager can at Ball. It has been so exciting to see these gorgeous cans start showing up in 6-packs at local liquor stores like my favorite, The Grape Leaf. This can, with a revamped version of the beloved B3K logo, marks the beginning of a new line of more modern, clean and—dare we say it—more bad-ass cans for Denver’s first brewpub. Let us know what you think and make sure to drink lots of B3K this summer!
We’re excited to share with you the latest beer Wynkoop Brewing Company is putting out in small-batch style this weekend. Look for it on Sunday, with a snazzy Studio Pattern designed label. The run is so small they’ll be hand-labeling cans with the sticky label, so be sure to get yours as soon as you can! Check out the video below for a preview to get your juices flowing.
Congratulations to Wynkoop Brewing Company for their medal winnings in this year’s Great American Beer Festival!
A bronze medal was won for B3K Schwarzbier in the Kellerbier or Zwickelbier category (48 entries). B3K is a dark German-style Schwarzbier featuring roasted flavors, understated hops and a hint of smoke.
Wynkoop also took the bronze medal in the Experimental Beer category (83 entries) for one of their newest seasonal beers, Belgorado. Belgorado is a luscious pale ale brewed with fresh Colorado hops and Colorado malted barley, all fermented with a Belgian yeast strain.
Recently, Pattern was excited to see our whimsical Cowtown Milk Stout logo executed in high-end chalk illustration at local Whole Foods locations! For a limited time, the Whole Foods in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Kansas will be carrying this special, artisan bread.
