Silverback Cameo on NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice

Denver, CO – April 5, 2011 – Studio Pattern announced a sighting of the Wynkoop Brewing Company’s Silverback Pale Ale can on an episode of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice. The episode aired March 27^th — surprising the folks at Pattern, as Silverback is not currently distributed on the East Coast.

Studio Pattern illustrated and designed the can artwork for the Wynkoop in mid-2010. “It is a project we’re especially proud to be a part of because 50% of the proceeds go to the Denver-based Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund.” said Amy Kenreich, owner at Pattern.

Studio Pattern uncovered that Marty Jones, of Wynkoop Brewing Company “pulled some strings” and was able to get both Silverback Pale Ale and Rail Yard Ale 6-packs placed in the apartment where the Apprentice candidates live. Upon returning from the Board Room, the men sipped on cans of Silverback as they watched Mr. Trump fire Dionne Warwick. Apparently, Lil John and John Rich are fans of the Wynkoop brews.
